I agree that it isn't easily hackable, and most of TX's stuff had the "Don't do this if your not a professional, but were going to show you how anyway," which toxically had the reverse effect. I have personally read through many threads of people diving head first into soldering on their Xbox 360 and totally running the system. Scared me a bit bit did it any way just took my time.

I enjoy modding my console systems whenever I get the chance.
