Reshuffle

As you would have no doubt noticed, the forums have undergone a bit of a "spring cleaning" if you will. The hope is that the new structure more evidently represents the GameCube as the main feature of the forums. There might still be a tweak or two, but for the most part the restructure is complete.
Due to this, some forums will require you to "mark all as read", which can be done by entering the said forum(s) and clicking on the "Mark topics read" link in the top right.
Suggestions on making the forums a better experience for us all are always welcome if you have any.

I don't have much of an opinion on it yet since I only registered on the forums a few days ago. But that be some good timing. I haven't learned the old layout yet, so it will prove to be of no consequence to me.
From what I can tell I can see why it would be better since the website URL for this is "gc-forever" and GC = GameCube.
So it doesn't hurt to organize the subcatagories to emphasize the GameCube and make it easier to find all the GameCube stuff. So I'm with you on this one.

I'm also new here so it doesn't make much difference... but I did prefer the GC, Wii and Wii U having their own separate sections. However I can see the purpose to make the board more compact and most apps that run on the Wii also run on the GC and vWii. I'll get used to it XD
