Which website did you buy it from? I see that Eurasia.nu has some for sale for $9.

Yeah I bought it from eurasia. I bought two and the two I bought were not the same, one was a clone with different connections, so you have to be careful.

I managed to get it working with my own code, got about 910kb/s from an old 10GB hdd. I'm still yet to develop code for ingame read replacements so I'm not entirely sure how it's looking.

Some further progress (disregard 0.5 version identifier and the GUI, it's all being re-written):

I am going to be away for the next week, but after that I'll implement the ability to actually boot up games.

no need for a computer power supply and you can switch to usb mode to your computer easily by switching the ide cable :)

Others: Is the motion video of games displayed correctly? or not? and the loads of games is much better and fast to normal? or not? Elfs and dols can be launch? all gc games are compatible? and last: is the lens works anytime or stop? need a original disc how the sd boot? Thanks :D

Got it working with my own code, ingame. Cutscene speeds are a bit worse than sd-boot, but there's A LOT of room for improvement which is what I'll be working on over the next week or so. I also plan to add LBA48 support so that there can be up to 2TB hdd's supported.

here is some pictures of the adapter i made. built to fit and replace the usb to ide pcb inside an external hdd closure. the chip itself is on the bottomside of my pcb just to make it fit inside, and its using power from the closure to the harddrive and it also uses the original activity led from the closure. atm its running a beta from emukidid.

i had my own doubts about this since i had alot of problems making it work, but now you can se for your self :)

greetings from sweden!

the main problem is that there is nowhere a partlist with things that I need to build this device.

I think its better when I wait for your new guid. hope that it will be released soon.
