Oh, god! That's amazing :D

I saw the photos on the web store but I don't understand what kind of cable do you use to power supply the external HDD. Can you take a photo of that please?

EDIT: Don't worry about that question..... I found pictures on the internet :P

And the external HDD has to be FAT32 format, isn't it?

Yes, FAT32 for now, but later on applications could be written to allow other formats.

NTFS will be great :)

Will you support EXFAT (the last FS of Microsoft)? Or do you prefer only NTFS?

People, please don't annoy me with private messages - I won't give you any more information than the one provided in this thread

1. The european based store will open soon!
2. There is no reservation - first come, first served.
3. If you follow this site quite regularly you won't miss the opening of the european store!

Thanks!

While we're clearing things up I have something too.

The IDE-EXI does NOT mean you will be able to boot up HBC and then Swiss/SDBoot to magically load backups from hdd on the Wii. On the Wii it will either require hacked MIOS to boot the DOL or a drivechip.

I will hopefully buy it from the EU store once it opens and I'm not too late.

One question, how do we power up the HDD, from where do we get the power? Don't tell me I need to put my cube next to my computer PSU because I have only an htpc at the moment.

It auto detects the supplied voltage? I noticed it has 110v 2 pin and 3pin 230v cables.
