Bought one from your store but didn't get a confirmation (apart from the one from PayPal). How do I know the order went through?

the chances of having an asian based store are quite low, since emu_kidid already sold out and i'm really close to it :)

apologies to those who ordered about the last 10 or so adapters, there was a delay in shipping, so if you haven't got yours yet, don't worry - they're on the way :)

Also, the webstore will have about 3-4 more in stock that I forgot to ship to liquitt so if you missed out, you'll have a chance shortly :P

HI, i stumbled acrosss this site after doing my own casemod on a old cube... seems i stumbled across it a little too late for these adapters have sold out.
Really love the site and want to thank everyone involved in keeping GC alive.
Is threre any chance to see these adapters being sold again? (wanting to purchase for in UK) looks beyond my amateur electronics abilities to make one myself.

Thanks

well, as you read this thread carefully (didnt you? ;) ) you might've seen that there will be no second batch produced.
PM me and we might figure something out!

Try the marketplace forum on here. IDE-EXI is fairly useless now that SD cards are fairly cheap.

Honestly, I would like to connect my HDD, which contains 300GB of GameCube ISO, to my unmodified GameCube.
Could you please recommend me any device that does this?

SD Gecko + 2 * 200GB SDXC SD cards (newegg had these for <$30 USD each shipped).

You will get better mileage from a SD Gecko compared to an IDE-EXI but both are prone to slowdown when playing backups. At least after that you'll have your data on a modern storage medium in preparation for a optical drive emulator if you do decide to modify your GameCube when one is eventually released.

Hmm, is there a way or any device that allow me to play backups with zero lag and no slowdowns on gamecube?
Also, you have mentioned a GameCube modification, if you know anything about such a project under development, please inform me.

There are existing methods that involve replacing the DVD drive with a Wii optical drive emulator from many years ago but these are hard to find/not worth the effort.

Upcoming optical drive emulators: meneerbeer's ODE, StreetWalker's HyperDrive

Also, please don't be lazy, do some research, without people searching for information on this forum, the forum will just become a source of the same questions being asked over and over again.
