one day i tried to play super smash bros. brawl and it said disc error...... and my disc has no scratches, later on all my games (wii and gc games) stopped working. whats wrong with my wii?

It sounds like your Wii is in need of a new laser or a run through with the laser cleaning kit.

You have a few options:

Since you've run homebrew, depending on how much soft modding you've done, I'd count your Wii as "Out of Warranty". This pretty much rules out sending it to nintendo for repairs unless you're keen to remove all traces of homebrew/unofficial IOS/bootmii/hbc. If you do, and you also have no modchip installed, you might be lucky to get it covered under warranty, just tell them you were using Smash Bros Brawl at the time.

Another option is to try the Wii laser cleaning kit. They're about $10-$15, but I don't think you'd have much success with it personally since your laser can't read any games at the moment..

You could buy a laser and install it yourself but this isn't an easy process, or you could send it away or find a local console repair shop.

Lastly, you could stop playing disc based games and purchase a WODE to play the (backed up) games from there.

Smash Bros. Brawl is a dual layer game, and if your Wii is quite old, it can take its toll on the laser, that's most likely why it's started to fail.

My wii serial starts with LU1, is that old?

I'd need at least the next number in the serial to tell. But usually you don't pay for warranty (unless you get extended) for the first year.

and i didnt use modchip for Homebrew Channel, i used bannerbomb.

Ok, if you can uninstall all traces of what you think is homebrew/soft mod related you should be able to send it into nintendo to get it repaired. But I can't be certain it'll be under warranty, it all depends on what they think after they've had a look at it.

I might just buy the wii lens cleaner kit, powder (or dust) is all over my house. some of it probably got inside my wii.

ok, ok! anyway i still need help with this problem!

i havent had no problems with the game ..so far lol.. BTW i noticed that the other website CodeMii.com doesnt work anymore i cant open that page anymore
