URGENT! Not64 20130408 Not Working with SD Media Launcher

Hi, I just recently bought a SD Media Launcher for my Gamecube, and i've been HAVING this BIG problem with this N64 Emulator called Not64(the latest version), Whenever I try loading a ROM, I get "Error Opening Directory sd:/Wii64/Roms/" or something like that, any fix?

Try not swapping SD cards if you are, or try fixing the SD connector to make better contact with the SD card.

I did both of them, they didn't work and the connectors fine

The only I cannot do with this emu is loading zipped roms, but it works for me and I use the same SD Media launcher as you. I recommend you to erase all Not64/Cube64 related stuff, make a back up of your sd card and then format it to fat32, redownload again the emu and place it along with your backed up files in your sd card and finally load the emu taking in mind the slot you are using, because next time you want to launch it again you must do it though taht same slot. I have used it from both slot A and B with both SD Gecko and the adapter provided with the SDML, with cards one or the two slots and still works. If the issue persists try another card up to 4gb (the one that comes in the smart phones i.e.) and only place the cube64.dol file in the root of your card along with the wii64 folder provided in your downloaded file, then put your roms in the roms folder and launch the emulator.

I don't have a SD Gecko, so I can't try it, and I don't have a Non-HC 4gb card

Then that's the problem. The SD Media Launcher only works/boots error-free with standard (non-HC) SD cards.

I personally don't think there will be any solutions, much less updates to resolve this issue to be perfectly honest.

I think Expansion pack is enabled by default in all games.
The issue might be compatibility...

Don't plan on there ever being a Gamecube version with the expansion pack emulated, not enough RAM on there AFAIK, don't expect there to be a working EP version on the Wii either, it ain't happening, probably for the same reasons.

Wii64 updates have been made into somewhat of a sore topic around here as you'd know, so consider this a warning.

Buy an N64 + EverDrive 64

You need to take into account that Nintendo undoubtedly found workarounds and know the N64 hardware pretty well, as well as the Gamecube hardware and limitations. How they actually did it is anyone's guess, but the emulator they wrote for those two games wasn't without problems of its own.

HLE, plus probably some speed hacks and patches.
