Problems playing

Post by purefish152 » Fri Jun 27, 2014 12:56 am

So I finally ordered everything and it loads pretty close to every time (sometime the GC freezes upon booting with the AR disc). However, during a quit test run of playing Mario Super Strikers it froze with in the first minute or so of gameplay. I'm pretty sure I am doing everything right, but before I load the game it says that audio streaming is on... Is that the problem? And if so can you maybe walk me through how to turn that off.

Thanks a lot.

I assume you're using Swiss from SDGecko? Check your SD card and make sure you have a clean ISO.

Yeah swiss off the gecko... and all the isos play fine through dolphin. Should I being booting through viper or swiss.dol?

I am trying to load Star Fox Assault now and it says, "An error has occurred. Turn off... instructions." Does this point you in a direction of what I'm doing wrong?

So I was consulting the swiss and backup compatible page on the gcforever wiki... and I decided to try super Mario sunshine... worked perfect (up until the first star at least). The other two games I were trying were noted in yellow but still considering "working". So should I try replacing them and see if that fixes it?

clean iso's
use cleanrip to make a copy of your isos and try them again

do not use dolphin as a test to determine functionality of iso's
dolphin is not real hardware

Have a proper disc in the drive for Starfox assault as it appears to want to do some audio streaming that I haven't properly patched out (thus causing your error has occurred message).

IDE-EXI and USBGecko would have it too. DVD, DVD-R, Wiikey Fusion/WASP/WODE should be fine
