Is anything new in development?

Basically I want to be able to utilize homebrew via SD or HDD. The ability to use the original drive would be nice. I read the V4 Megadrive could do that, but it doesn't look like they will be made again in the foreseeable future. Also, there is the streaming audio issue that is present. Is there anything on the horizon that will allow us to utilize homebrew via sd or HDD that will not have the streaming audio issue? I am new here and have been doing my part in reading to stay informed and not be entirely clueless, but is there any product some of the cube veterans are aware of that can do what I am looking to do?

Huh?
You need:
- Gamecube that runs backup discs (eg. with XenoGC Chip)
- A SD Gecko (Either you buy one for cheap or make one yourself. When you can install a modchip, you can propably make a SD Gecko)
- A SD Card (Works up to 128gb as far as I know)
- a DVD-R (mini or full size)

=> Burn latest Swiss to the DVD-R and run it on your cube. Put the SD card with homebrew on in SD Gecko and you can run homebrew/games from SD.

Most games work and so does audio streaming. Expect choppy cutscenes for some games.
