Swiss Confusion

Post by Chris230291 » Thu Mar 31, 2016 7:33 pm

Hi all. I've heard that Swiss is useful with a ton of awesome options, but I'm not sure what exactly it is. Does it integrate into the standard GC options? Is it something you have to boot from a disc with each power cycle? Does it live on an SD card?

My GC has one of the xeno modchips installed and I own a memory slot to SD adapter. Maybe someone can better explain what it does and where it lives because I cant find anything. Do I have everything needed to give it a go?

Cheers,
Chris

You can't find anything? http://www.gc-forever.com/wiki/index.php?title=Swiss

Just burn a bootable disc version of it and use it on your XenoGC GameCube: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1375

Hi thanks for the reply. I've seen that but I'm not sure it answers my questions. The main reason I want swiss is to force 480p. Now if I have to load this disk each time I power cycle my console, that's inconvenient. Maybe it stores something on an SD card that would force 480p for me all the time? Or on select games only?

Maybe I should just boot the disk and see whats what. As someone that has never used it, the info seems very scarce... Maybe I'm just an idiot.
Are there any good guides on burning disks, specifically the swiss one? I've only used my Xeno to boot imports.

Thanks,
Chris

You have to load the disc every time.
