So I've seen that you can play burnt games using SDML. I'm very new to GC modding and just loaded Swiss for the first time using home bros. Can I play burnt games straight from Swiss or if I need to buy an SD card adapter to load some special software?

If you're in Swiss, insert the backup media into the drive and then load it via the "DVD" device in the device list.

Sick! So just to confirm before I go buy a pack of mini DVDs. I can burn an ISO onto the DVD and just play the game via Swiss—no SDML disk, mod chip, or SD card required?

You will still need a method to boot Swiss first.

Like I said, I'm using the home bros. method.

Oh sorry, I must have overlooked that. Then you should be good to go.

Yeah, maybe buy one or two before you go and buy a larger volume of discs, the GameCube can be fairly picky about media if you haven't/won't adjust the potentiometer on the drive.

Huh, nice to know. Any brands you know work?
