megadrive v3 + Wasp fusion

Post by blubb » Sat Jul 23, 2016 6:36 pm

Aight so i finally got everything in my Mail, hooked up everything, got an SD card with the 1.5 Firmware (did everything according to the Wiikey Fusion update guide), but after the reboot it won't recognise a disc, so i hooked up everything again and it's still the same status, though the blue LED is blinking very lightly + sometimes it says "trying to read disc" or something like that for a very short time.

anybody know what could be the issue?

can you post a link to the guide you used?
seems like it needs to be updated

also look in the swiss nightly thread and find the swiss recovery iso....this is what you should be using to flash your firmware...not 1.5 firmware...

Alright thanks for your help,

well i used this since i thought the latest software should be the best: http://www.eurasia.nu/mirrors/wiikey_fu ... pport.html

I found the recovery *.iso and copied it into the root of a fat32 8gbyte sd card and on a FAT 1gbyte sd card -> same problem, just lightly blue flashing light and on the menu the "reading disc" is appearing for a very short time

i found the nightly recovery *.iso you mentioned and copied it onto 2 SD cards, both resolved into the same issue

i also just added the *.iso with the WBFS manager.
(iso is called swiss_r369_Recovery.iso)
The (micro) SD Card (8 GB) i used is in a Transflash.

I used safe ejection

You need to write the ISO to the SD card with win32diskimager or dd.
