Hi,
Which mini DVD-r disks have the best compatibility to be read in the GameCube that are still readily available in the UK.
I was told Ritek 04's but can't seem to get hold of any.
What would be the best alternative?
Cheers.

Any will work if you have a good burner and burning with a Linux distro works better for unknown reasons.

Darker dye ritek seem to work best. Try burning them at a lower speed with imgburn and a decent burner, none of those $15 specials.

Yes this is true. Burning at lower speeds is better, x2 is the best if possible. I've had issues burning Wario World, it would crash constantly. Same with Mario party 6, 7 and Crash Nitro I believe, until I started to use Linux Mint to burn. I forget who told me about burning with Linux but it totally helped me out and now my games are safe in the boxes and no disk read errors.
