What's the pro's and con's to using the vbx gx over the gameboy player with the new interface using a freeloader.
Cheers!
Gameboy player vba gx
Re: Gameboy player vba gx
There's literally no pro other than not needing the GBP. VBA GX is so slow it's unplayable, use emGBA instead.

Will use the emgba with the gameboy player then, thanks!Streetwalker wrote:There's literally no pro other than not needing the GBP. VBA GX is so slow it's unplayable, use emGBA instead.
Re: Gameboy player vba gx
mGBA is an emulator, GBI works with the GBP. emGBA is Extrems's report of mGBA to the GC and Wii, including several features from GBI (mostly the video and audio processing parts I believe).
Re: Gameboy player vba gx
Ahh I just saw a based of gbi in there so assumed it used the gameboy player.Streetwalker wrote:mGBA is an emulator, GBI works with the GBP. emGBA is Extrems's report of mGBA to the GC and Wii, including several features from GBI (mostly the video and audio processing parts I believe).
Re: Gameboy player vba gx
Wouldn't that be redundant? GBI is redundant enough as it is with its separate branches.

Sorry what do you mean by that?Extrems wrote:Wouldn't that be redundant? GBI is redundant enough as it is with its separate branches.
