Mario Kart Double Dash - playing online

Post by JRC_46 » Tue Nov 21, 2017 9:41 pm

Hello

After some advice.
What exactly is required to play this game online? A few of us wish to play and aware that we need to firstly purchase a broadband adapter each.
Is it then just a case of using a tunneling site link Xlink Kai and hosting a game? Is this easy to do?

Does the game run OK or are there issues?

Thanks in advance

I tried this a few years ago (2?) and couldn't get it working over things like WarpPipe or Xlink Kai on modern Windows (7/10), do let me know if you get it working. I had it working back in the day on DSL to Dialup over WarpPipe just fine with some stutter.

I'm sure this could work with an Ethernet-over-IP tunnel if your router has such capability.
