looking for version of swiss to fit on 59block card

Post by techerrorcode » Fri Apr 19, 2019 3:29 am

I have an original nintendo gamecube 59 block card. All versions of swiss I find require much more than that. I'm using the splinter cell exploit. Any way I can run swiss or do I need to buy a bigger aftermarket memory card?

The cheaper you can go is get a SDgecko clone (WiiSD) for less than $3 on chinese market, put the exploit and a file to launch swiss from the root of an SDcard:
SDLoader (6 blocks, no SDHC, no Fat32 support)
Brosexec (11 blocks, SDHC, Fat32, ExFat support)
Brosexecauto (11 blocks, same as previous, but launches autoexecA.dol if a is pressed, and so on for each digital button on the controller)

Still, anyway, you will need a big Memcard to save all those games you will access then. 2043 blocks is the bigger you can get, for less than $10.

Both are good to get, using Swiss on SD cards limits much hassle, and you can use emulators, utilities, have best GBI experience…
DMG/MultiFreq OC/EDGB/EZF Jr, AGB/SC miniSD, NTR/NeoMK3, USG/flashme V8/SC miniSD
DOL001(EUR)/RGB/GCPlug/GBP/SD2SP2, RVL 001(EUR)/RGB/CMP/WiiSD

Well it really depends on if you want to use Swiss and only that. I use Swiss cause my setup allows it, but Papy G.'s recommendations are also good if you don't want to spend money.

However if you are looking to buy an OEM or aftermarket card then these are the ones I'd recommend if you are in the US. They are a very good online store and I've been using them for years.

OEM:
251 Block OEM Memory Card: https://www.lukiegames.com/Gamecube-Mem ... -Used.html
1019 Block OEM Memory Card (If you wanna go baller, really you don't need this much) https://www.lukiegames.com/Gamecube-Mem ... -Used.html

Aftermarket:

16MB Memroy Card (This is just aftermarket 251 blocks): https://www.lukiegames.com/New-Gamecube-Memory-16MB
32MB Memory Card (Around 500 blocks) https://www.lukiegames.com/New-Gamecube ... -32MB.html
128MB (1019+ blocks, not really recommended to save money or really needed unless you play a lot of gamecube games, but its up to you.) https://www.lukiegames.com/New-Gamecube ... 128MB.html

I use a 32MB aftermarket memory card, it should give you more than enough space to store and still give you enough space to play games on your cube. Whether you decide to use the smaller options on your 59 block card or buy a bigger card is up to you :P
