I broke the thing that I don't know what to call, please tell me how to call it so I can rename thread...

I think i would like to short sope of the pins so that the gamecube always think it is closed and spin the disc at all times (so we will need to power off to swap discs but that ok).

Most people just call it the lid switch or PIN 29. You should be able to solder those blue wires together and be fine.

For future reference, when reassembling a GameCube, you'll want to have the lid on the top half of the case open before putting it back together, or the plastic tab will break the lid switch.

I have no idea when it happened, i currently have 7 cubes some broken some of so i just swap parts all the time and i never paid attention to this fragile part!
