HELP Gameboy player screen is not normal

Post by cyrus331 » Sun Apr 09, 2023 9:35 am

The gameboy player screen is abnormal, what is the reason, is it a flash memory problem or other problems? , have you met any friends?

The card slot and cassette have been cleaned, and the same is true for changing a few cassettes and booting without a card. The cause of the card slot and cassette has been ruled out.

How can I display the picture?

Seems like a sprite bug, from what we can see in the pictures, so probably not a GBPlayer-GC connection problem, more of an hardware problem, if you tried with various known to be legit carts, it may be the GBPlayer's fault, ram module (see the regular pattern on the boot screen) or memory controller issue. :|

Maybe there is an advanced hardware test around to load through (internal) serial port for the GBPlayer…

If it is dead, I hope you can stil get one for cheap (Shipping Included) where you are.
