Cannot update past v0.6r1387

Hi all,

aus pal gc user running qoob pro with carby v2 and mclassic. had not touched gc for a while. everything runs on 1387 hoever when I try to either open a later versions dol from 1387 or flash anything later to the qoob pro directly results in black screen. Swiss v0.6r1400 onwards all do the same, black screen. I dont see it loading all the patches and stuff before loading the game (just a black screen almost immediately). I did get one latter revision to play audio with black screen.

I did try without mclassic and another hdmi cable with same result.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Can you try with just a plan A/V out, or hardcode the videomode in the .ini file? (or temporarily remove the entire swiss directory away from the SD card).

I’ve tried forcing 480p 572p in the ini no luck. Deleted ini altogether no luck. Forcing 480i or other interlaced resolution freeze when loading Swiss through 1387. Will try composite cables tonight.

Set AVECompat from AVE-RVL to GCVideo then black screen again. When I try to revert back to AVE-RVL and save it does not work again

Ok got to the bottom of it. I can no longer set the qoob video to 480p. In the qoob setup menu. If I leave it set to auto it works. Weird. The qoob wallpapers I have setup look shit when qoob video is set to auto but don’t care at all at least newer builds are working now!
