Hi guys

I'm new on the forums and I was wondering if there was anyone in the UK who is willing to mod my gamecube to use an SD card?

Also which is the best way to run backups SD? or IDE?

the best options are in order of playability/compatability:
1: WODE USB Hard Drive or SD functions. (would need an adapter building GC DVD>WODE Flat cable)
2: Wiikey SD (Needs adapter like WODE)
3: Swiss Homebrew launching, SD and IDE compatability are similar if not the same however and IDE-EXI must be aquired. You could buy an SD Gecko and maybe a Qoob Pro modchip to store swiss on)... Compatability is increasing with swiss still.

I could offer you a modchip soldering service in uk, however I haven't created my own GC Wiikey/WODE adapter before.

There is also the option of having no modchip whatsoever and using software i.e. the Datel SD Media Launcher to start swiss or other .dol programs.

Just depends if you can be bothered with swapping discs and SD cards if needed.
