Post cooldown time

Post by novenary » Mon Apr 28, 2014 5:39 pm

Just out of curiosity what's the cooldown time set to when posting ? I'm a fast poster and it's bothering me sometimes. :P

Probably less than a minute, but then again it is probably using a post per minute factor or something like that.

It's at least a minute I think. And I've never seen software that uses a post per minute number, but rather a countdown between posts.

Yeah it's just that on other forums I can post as fast as I want to*. :P The lower activity here makes up for it though (less posts to reply to).

*Except on XDA which is pretty much a forum where newcomers are almost unwelcome, people are impolite and keep flaming each other, and it's way too large to be called a community anymore. But this is not the place to rant about it. <_<

Oh god not that place.
Downloads? Check.
Proper communication? Forget it.
Not saying I condone the flaming, but half the members there have the brain of a potato. Not much to do about it.

Then again, on-topic: Pretty sure I've done two or more posts within a minute on the forum and I have never seen any cooldown on posting. Accidentally double-clicking the new posts link one too many times, guilty. Just need a short 10 second wait though.

I'm not clicking the link too many times. :P I often get the "you can't make a new post so soon after your last" though.

Heh, I'm not of legal age yet. :P Also I saw a couple friends of mine drunk and it was not pretty so I don't even want to try and get to that point. :?

Then smoke some ganja, it's pretty chill if you just relax with your cube and some music.
