USB Gecko

Post by avanomi » Wed May 07, 2014 3:33 pm

I'm not sure if this is the right area for this. I'm basically looking for a USB Gecko. They have become so scarce, and I can't find one. Does anyone here want to sell me theirs? Or perhaps tell me if there is one for sale somewhere?

This would be better in the marketplace. If you feel adventurous, all the details to make your own were released when it was discontinued. ;)

They weren't accurate though; the commands accepted by the retail USB geckos didn't match the source code that was released (and vice versa).
Somebody really needs to come up with something better anyway.

Yeah, rs232 as an intermediary between EXI and USB is actually a bad idea. They should have made an EXI controller over USB, it would have been a lot better.
