Formatting a SD card

Post by MarioMania » Tue Nov 18, 2014 8:49 pm

I bought a 2GB SD Card for my Gamecube to run Emulators on it

I got it, Made sure the lock switch is up, Put it in the SD Card Reader

Add the files I want "The disk is write protected"

Formatting won't work....

Is there a way to format for PC use?

Implementing the lock tab (to write protect) is up to the host and not the card itself. I'd check that your reader hasn't become deformed and can't properly detect if the little tab is up or down.

You can also try formatting it on a camera or similar first.
