Enabling progressive mode via Action Replay

Post by wellfedded » Mon Feb 12, 2024 8:31 pm

Is it possible to force 480p output via Action Replay code?
May be there is a universal code.

Searching over internet about this topic returned no results.

I know there is a swiss for this but nevertheless...

But why?
There is cheat codes for enabling 480p in PS2 games, why it is not possible for GC?
I heard an explanation relating to code lenght but may be local members know better.

the gamecube analog output simply cannot do it. you need to use a component cable or hdmi solution, then you can use 480p. the gamecube is not a PS2, its different hardware. it's as simple as that. Has nothing to do with codes or software. It's a hardware thing.
