Like a said in the last post, I tried to use the older revision of swiss and no matter what I tried, couldn't recover the original configuration. I fomated my SD, redownloaded the isos and tried every possible config.

Do you know if swiss change some configuration on the GC hardware when I patch a game?

Game says there is no memory card on slot A when ussing virtual memory cards
EDIT: Pokemon XD works perfect, so maybe there's something wrong with how coloseum checks the memory card.

well, let's go to one more interesting fact ,.
NGC 001 USA
Swiss 994

Tales of Symphonia
Spanish PAL

if speed emulation is active and I select disk 1, when in IPL mode, the game will change to disk 2, within the IPL menu; when I press Start, it enters the game and will ask you to open the cover of the gamecube physically, not as a disc change, but as if the disc was not there.

or if you select disk 2, it usually gives an error,

if i open the lid, it will run the Zelda WW boot disk.
And order the Tales record.
The interesting thing is that the introduction of the Game seems to run much better without the IPL enabled ...
I hope that this serves to some debugging, since Tales seems to present problems.

IMHO, boot through IPL should only be used when you really need the IPL to do something with it and can't access it straight from power on (some modded consoles and DOL-002 on NTSC TVs). ;)
We are all looking for the fastest way to boot games, and booting every game through IPL (not mentionning speed emulation) is just going the exact opposite side, unless compatibility issues force the need for you to do so. :?

in reality, the problem is with the compatibility list.
and when reporting minor issues, we may be helping to debug SWISS.
for example:
Skies of Arcadia Legends
PAL
NTSC dol 001
SP2

if I activate the speed emulation and activate the mode
PAL AVE-N-DOL, and apply the IGR command, it will fall on a black screen.
but if I reset the game first, it will return to the SEGA logo and then apply the IGR command, it will then return to SWiss.

in that game. to apply the IGR, I must first reset, and then it accepts the IGR ... the video mode seems to be affecting this.

It didn't work for me for memory card emulation. :!:
tried with and without IPL. It does not appear.
Enabling speed emulation also creates incompatibilities ...

Memory card emulation is disabled when either streaming audio emulation or disc read speed emulation is enabled.
There isn't enough space to do everything at once.

I don't know if it's because of my dying battery (yes, once more, I got a bad battery batch…), or the exploit and boot forwarder (Dolauncher) that I use, but I can't load SWISS anymore, either from Exploit or IGR, when the microphone is plugged into Slot B. I wasn't sure I did before, but I have the video I made as a proof that I used to be able to.

I wonder if I'm the only one to experience this issue?

well, revision 1085 came out yesterday, and I already caught an error that was happening in one of the games listed; the error continues:
DOL 001 and 101 USA
SP2
SD gekko
Zelda no Densetsu: Kaze no Takuto

the work with the Virtual Memory Card is broken. :(
the game features a "loop" on the save screen.
GAME SAVES, but gets stuck on the save screen, rotating automatically causing you to need to restart. :x

Happy to see there are specific aspect ratios for more games now, and that they seem to be able to be enabled/disabled in the settings.

What is "clean boot", and what's the use of that?

if you die more than three times. on the fourth or fifth time you will get a graphic buffer overflow in the crosshairs.
I play aimlessly.
but in both cases the tear took place.
and it's been a long time in swiss.

COMMENTS - Near the end of the FMV the camera zooms in on Bowser in the crowd. With Swiss a few frames are dropped. Dolphin emu more are dropped. I checked out YouTube and one video had no dropped frames and another 2 had dropped frames , seems to be a tricky title to fix



I think Swiss SD card ISO image loading is a fantastic concept. The community need to get behind it and contribute more testing on gc-forever and the Wikipedia Compatibility List

I'd love to see more people contributing to this issue, as it's a little more useful and so much more simpler to do than testing games just in case FMVs are playing seamlessly. :mrgreen:

hi Papy I've seen your input around gc-forever forums and it's very much helpful to the developers and community.

In regards to my Swiss testing I also test in game and the FMVs. I test in game for about 20-30 minutes. I probably should have made it more clear , but to note if I have not mentioned in my Comments there's any issue in game then it's running just fine.

You can add them yourself if you'd like. At this point it's more the incompatible games we're interested in, or games with severe stuttering/issues. This game above, what's the reason it's not a redump match?

Your input is very much appreciated, and I didn't want to sound harsh, but Jaggy FMVs is something we've been used to with SWISS, and unless something new is announced in the changelog in regards to FMVs, I won't personally lose time testing that specific feature.

hi emu it's always good hearing from you. The game you mentioned is a scene release , I don't know where to get a Redump of JPN titles.

Roger that Papy no harm done all is cool.......

I've never added to Wikipedia before but I'll give it a shot.

To me i believe I have successfully input my testing/findings on the Wikipedia List. Also I have found some JPN Redump titles which match Redump.org. I plan on releasing and testing some more titles soon.

BTW Gekitou Pro Yakyuu has been retested with a Redump ver , instead of a scene release. All games I've done are Redump. After each game I've done is a indicator of the FMV severity.

Found a problem with Star Wars: Bounty Hunter.

NTSC version works fine, but PAL freezes after loading the first level. This happens with both europe and spain versions
