I have big problems getting a working copy of swizz.

Can someone upload a working iso (pal) somewhere?

I tried bootable disk maker and bootable disk maker GUI
I tried different burners, different gamecubes with no luck

first of all, it's called swiss.

and then: give us some more information. how are these gamecubes modded, what brand disks etc. etc.
please search before you ask - a lot has been discussed already!

Hi, I have a gamecube NTSC USA with wiikey fusion installed successfully, I wanted to load swiss .iso from WKF menu (firm 1.5), ntsc and ntsc-j disc gave me only a black screen, so I compile a swiss boot disc and loaded the iso (using CT1 Swiss DVD, WBFS Manager showed as a pal image), but a screen showing "init wiikey fusion" appear and nothing happen, tried with swiss pal iso that came with swiss 0.3 rar file and happens the same init screen.

I don't want to flash swiss to wkf yet, so I need to boot it as a .iso, any ideas? thanks!

Did you swap the WBFS card with a FAT32 formatted one after booting Swiss?

Yes I did, but tried again, and first time was too fast, so It came back to WKF menu, tried again a bit slower, just after GC logo animation ended but before swiss showed up and worked!

I didn't test a GameCube game without Swiss to see if it also happens, but Wii games fill the entire screen on my CRT monitor and it's supposed to be the same video mode. Under the Wii settings the horizontal screen position adjustment is set to +0.
I talked to a friend about this and the reason the image is slightly to the right is due to a phenomenon called overscan.

I was testing Super Smash Bros. Melee on r149. It offered me the Hz selection which r174 did not and the screen ratio was set appropriately. But when I try it under r174 it now offers me the selection, too! What the hell? I made sure it wasn't a fluke by doing a cold boot on my Wii, but it's the same.

EDIT: Deleted r149 from the SD card to make sure it wasn't sneakily loading that instead. Same result. I don't know what I did wrong before, but I'll update the wiki.

Turns out I was using r174 all along. Wii Swiss Booter looks at SD:/apps/Swiss/swiss.dol even if it's in another directory. So I can't have multiple working Swiss binaries on my SD card. I must switch the revision used by editing directory names. Damn it.

With WKF firmware installed on WKF flash:
you will need a WBFS formatted SD card and FAT formatted SD card

Install Swiss.iso on WBFS SD card
Launch Swiss iso from WKF menu
When Swiss loads remove WBFS SD card and insert FAT SD card into WKF SD adapter

How do I use cheats on 0.3? GCT won't read and I'm unable to input custom codes into a .QCH.

Just added this to the wiki, didn't realize how empty the information about cheats was:

Still won't read. Do GCT not work with a Swiss flashed WFK?

What happens when you try them? they need to be named with lowercase .gct to be auto picked up.

oh right, only the cheat database .QCH can be loaded up via that. You need to name it exact same as your game followed by .gct and it'll get auto picked up/all cheats selected in it. so mygame.iso mygame.iso.gct

Says failed to parse cheat database. The rom is "sa2b.gcm" and the gct is "sa2b.gcm.gct" no caps on either. I get the error whem I don't have cheats loaded up too. Maybe it's not reading it?

Until there is a fix, could someone inject this code into a QCH? I know its not decrypted, but I don't have access to a computer. The code is for SA2B

I have a problem with my Swiss 0.3 r174.

I installed Swiss today in order to enjoy my grand GC collection-to-be as best as possible... Who am I kidding? I want to have smooth widescreen Melee :?.

So I installed Swiss today. Got the official Wii Swiss Booter 0.3 and Swiss 0.3. Booted my retail Melee with forced 480p and widescreen and GOD was that beautiful! No slowdowns and rich colors and detail. Truly outrageous compared to that Melee I've used to see on those fatty tellies in tournaments. It was like I was watching a TAS run on Dolphin. Freaking great work!

I then switched to SMS (which is actually my only other GC game) with same settings. It resulted in a picture where the screen was cut from the bottom like it was zoomed in to make it widescreen. I couldn't see the HUD for Fludd.

I then tried with 576p and Auto. Neither one works. 576p results in lost component signal and Auto makes the Wii to semi-freeze at the second it shows "100 % complete" for DOL download. Same freezing happens if the patch settings are changed to "high". It isn't a complete freeze as the console reacts to reset button but it doesn't get anywhere from that screen unless reset or shut off. I tried several times on each settings (with widescreen always on since that's my main goal) and nothing but 480p works till the boot.

Now that I went to Melee again it had the exact same problems as Sunshine had. I can't get it to work again no matter what I do. I've tried complete re-installing of Swiss and even that didn't bring back my glorious Melee :(.

Just what am I doing wrong? I tried both games on composite cable and they both work just fine. This only occurs with the YpBpR.

Thanks!

E: Here's a video recorded with mushed potatoes to visualize the problem. As you can see the section cut off is so huge I can't even see the damage percentages on the characters.

E2: Disabling the widescreen mode results the same off cropped bottom as with the widescreen on.

Got the Booter from this topic:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=371

I already had the cMIOS and stuff to play GC games so all I did was transferring the Swiss folder from the Booter zip to my Apps folder and then included that swiss.dol in it. I did try placing the dol at the root as well but it had the same problems.

I just find it funny how it works great with composite but not component.
