Swiss Nightly Build
For general questions about usage, functionality, feature requests, troubleshooting, etc etc, not associated with Nightly Builds, please post in a different thread or create a new thread.

F&Q:
What is a Nightly Build?
A Nightly Build is the latest compiled version of swiss.

Will a new version be available every night?
NO, only when the latest changes have been uploaded to swiss GitHub can a new build version be released.

Should I use Nightly Builds?
Swiss Nightly Builds give you access to the very latest features, compatibility improvements, and/or fixes found in current code changes not available in the last "official release." This will not only improve your swiss experience, it will also allow you to provide precise feedback.

Are Nightly Builds stable?
While the Nightly Builds incorporate the latest features and/or fixes added, it is possible that some unexpected events could be introduced. Finding any new issues and pointing them out quickly using these Nightly Builds is essential to provide overall improvements. If any MAJOR issues are introduced in a Nightly Build, it will probably be fixed very quickly in a subsequent Nightly Build. Remember: feedback is essential.

What files will be released with a Nightly Build?
All Nightly Build releases will contain a the following files to allow everyone an opportunity to access to the latest changes and allow for a wide range of testing scenarios.

Testing & Feedback
Testing and feedback of Nightly Builds is essential to confirm proper functionality of latest improvement changes, searching for new issues not previously documented or the recurrence of issues thought to have been resolved.
Please check here for a list of known issues.
Please check here for a list of recent changes.

If a new unexpected issue is discovered, please retest the issue using all available Nightly Build versions to determine if the issue is duplicated and/or when the issues was introduced.
When providing feedback, please include as much information as possible. This will allow for another member to attempt duplication of the issue confirm the issue or provide a resolution.

I was just thinking about something like this. Awesome! This will be great for testing new features or potentially finding stuff that may have "broke" from build to build quickly. Thanks to everyone involved!

Thanks for these builds! I can confirm that the rev221 is now working perfectly.

BTW, is there a chance to fix Ikaruga? ;)

Sure, sorry for lack of details.

With the 219 and 220 revs I had the same issue which julius had: Swiss doesn't show the contents of the SD Card and then just freezes. I've just tested the 217 and 218 revs and they does work without problems.

My setup:

GameCube DOL-001, IPL NTSC rev 1.1
Qoob Pro 1.3c
SD Gecko on slot B
Boot method: Qoob with Swiss 0.3 build 174

Hi, I can't get metroid prime running on my swiss. I'm using swiss r221 with the 1.0 wiikey fusion firmware. Autoboot works, most games run, but metroid prime doesn't. Yes, I do own an actual metroid prime disk so hopefully this isn't frowned upon. I'm sure the .iso I'm using is good I used it before I installed autoboot and I remember it working. In the swiss menu I select the iso, hit "a" and it freezes at "reading...". It even does this if the metroid prime iso is the only file on the sd card. I've noticed when swiss scans an iso it brings up data and even a picture of the game, perhaps this iso is missing that data?

*edit*

I just somehow managed to get metroid prime past the "reading..." spot, now it's frozen on "reset base offset .."

By cycling through games, hitting "a" to load the picture then "b" to go back I managed to get f-zero to also freeze at "reset base offset ..". If I fire the system up and go straight into f-zero it works fine.

By the way I flashed the ntsc swiss file, the pal file tries to update the firmware even if there's no firmware file and kills autoboot.

I don't really recommend anything beyond r221 except for testing purposes.
