How to use ISO patching?

Post by Air Conditioner » Sat Oct 03, 2015 6:35 pm

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but I can't seem to find any info on how to use this function. The source code says I need a .patchx but I couldn't find anything to make one of these files. Also where on the SD gecko would the .patchx go once it's created? For context, I'm wanting to load custom textures onto SSBM via Swiss but not have to load the ISO from the SD gecko a because it makes certain parts of gameplay choppy.

So I can't load custom files in place of certain ones while the GameCube reads the disc in any way?
