Metroid Prime problems with Swiss

Post by CaptainSodaPop » Thu Mar 10, 2016 4:25 pm

When i'm using SDML with Swiss 0.3 r174 Metroid Prime runs fine (as far as the game comes to case) but audio is choppy.I tried Swiss 0.3 r249 since compatibility list adresses it fixes the issue with sound but the game just loads with Nintendo screen asking 50/60hz and confirming it passes only Retro Studios and Dolby screen. After that it's nothing but black screen and the game is not loading beyond that.I'm using a Micro SD 2GB Sandisk card.I tried latest nightly release (Swiss 0.4) and it's the same thing.I'm also using component cables if that's any of the importance.

Please help, i'm trying to beat this game from 2006.Didn't have luck with Viper GC on the past GameCube as well, getting DREs every time.

Getting a new Sandisk Extreme 32GB SD HC solved this.It works amazing now.

Use the latest nightly build of Swiss, 174 and 249 are very outdated.

Yeah, I figured that out.Thanks. :) The latest one didn't want to work with my old 2GB Sandisk.
