"swiss.ini" configuration file syntax

Post by andzlay » Sun Mar 27, 2016 3:22 pm

Hi,

is there a place where the configuration file "swiss.ini" syntax is explained?
I want to set my WODE as the default device.

My current config is like this:

Code: Select all

# Swiss Configuration File!
# Anything written in here will be lost!

#!!Swiss Settings Start!!
Default Device=No
SD/IDE Speed=32MHz
Swiss Video Mode=Auto
Enable Debug=No
Force No DVD Drive Mode=No
Hide Unknown file types=No
Stop DVD Motor on startup=No
Enable WiiRD debug=No
#!!Swiss Settings End!!

I took a brief look at the source code in the git, but couldn't find anything about "Default Device" there... Is this setting deprecated? Not sure about my config file, because I'm booting r174 as a startup ISO from the WODE, and then start r342-dol from sd gecko to have cheats support and the cooler gui.
I tried to set "Default Device=wode" and other stuff manually, but couldn't get it to work...

When I put the r342-iso as a startup iso for the wode, it just hangs at "loaded 0 settings from config file" or something like that.

WODE is barely supported, default devices were removed recently, I'll need to add in WODE auto selection on boot if discovered.

Stay tuned, I'll take a look today

Thanks Emu! I wonder why no one is using the wode (anymore)?

Because it's rare and expensive and it's harder to build into a GC.
