I can't get it to start on my Wii. GC Homebrew Launcher just says "Failed to load DOL". It's at the root of the front sd-card, and it's called "start.dol". I also tried launching it as Wii homebrew for good measure, but got the "invalid application" error from HBC. I might also mention that I haven't gotten to sd-boot to work either, get the same error when trying to load thru GC Homebrew Launcher, and it won't respond to controller input when started as Wii homebrew.

Any help would be appreciated!

Emukidid,do you plan to fix in the next build video signal for Wii component cables? It becomes tiresome to change manually Wii's outpout everytime I need to test some games on Swiss.

Wii Swiss Booter:

Old SD-Boot on Wii:

Both requires to have a compatible cMIOS installed, which is also a requirement for the regular GC homebrew launcher. So i guess you don't have a cMIOS installed or a bad one(Waninkoko's cMIOS).

In addition to what has been said, it also won't work with the front sd-card slot. You need an sd-gecko.

WiiPower: Free blowjob if you ever get here. I put swiss.dol on the root of the gecko, and it finally worked, using your app to load swiss. Thank you so much, both you and emu_kidid! <3

You need a softmod then. SD media launcher or older Action Replay.
But a chip is cooler ;) XenoGC is the cheapest then you can start backup discs of your games and homebrew discs. besides the xenogc chip is cheaper then SD media launcher ;)

Thanks !

PSO exploit OK. Is it impossible to boot directly from MC ? (like PS2)

I have to run swiss through PSO and launch a program from SD Gecko ? Correct ?

No it's not impossible I think, but if it isn't it's near impossible.
If you have tmbinc's modchip you could flash swiss to it (it has a boatloader on mc).
You could also modify GCoS AR boot and replace level3.dol (GCoS) with a memory card DOL loader.
But you also need an Action Replay for that (lower then version 1.15 (this one is REALLY expensive usualy 70+).

What do you mean with launching a program from SD Gecko?

New in svn revision 39:
- No need to navigate to the "Boot" button anymore, just press A on a file
- Cheat file loading from browser on any device (.QCH format)
- Reset SD Gecko on mount
- Fix the pre-patcher detection
- Motor Stopping is not allowed on pre-patched games
- Added Qoob Flash file browsing support (DOL loading from it)
- Changed the device selection screen to allow for more devices to come
- Attempt to fix black/green screen for users who have Swiss in 480p and then try booting a game

Are you going to add the wiikey fusion or WODE device?

Congratulations for your work, emu_kidd, it's great

I will test some games with the new rev, see if it's better. Next week, I'm gonna buy a new controller (my analog is broken), so I will be able to test anygame!

Congrats emu_kidid!Thank you for everything you have accomplished so far!
After testing the last version for the last 4 hours I will write my impressions.

-I know that you have fixed SD Gecko mount.I think that my problem is that I am using priiloader (yes,Wii user) and whenever it boot directly to the HBC SD Gecko cannot be detected.
-Unfortunately,I still have black screens in Wii 480p.I have to switch manually to 576i or 480i.
- Skies of Arcadia Legends PAL displays a weird message in a blue screen Something like " Invalid TV format e.t.c" with some codes bizzare to me.If you think that this may help you,I can write the exact message here.
-I cannot manage to use cheats.I rename the qch files with the names of the games,I loaded a cheat file before starting the game but it seems that the game was running without any cheats implemented.Perhaps,I am doing something wrong.
-PLEASE give a priority to fix Luigi's Mansion

Excellent work so far!!! :-))))))

I was hoping for the disc dumper to be reimplemented for the IDE EXI  guess it's being overlooked now in favour of the modchip drive replacemnent, looks as though I bought another dud :| I can't even dump my games so I don't know how you expect me to test further.

I don't remember Emu saying that it wasn't going to be re-implemented... Maybe you should keep your pants on. I'm sure he will get to it when he has time.

Great work as always Emu. Keep it up :D
