Issues With Swiss and SD Gecko

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. I've been having some issues lately.
I'm on the most recent version of Swiss. I have a WASP fusion hooked up via a Mega Drive. I also have an SD Gecko in slot B.
First, Swiss isn't saving any of my settings at all. I've never really done this before, but I'm just noticing it now. I have no clue how to fix this.
The other thing is SD Gecko games are constantly freezing. I've tested several games (Eternal Darkness, Mario Baseball, Super Monkey Ball) and all games simply freeze after about 60 seconds. When I put the SD card in the WASP fusion, the games work perfectly fine (with exception of the audio streaming, which is why I use the SD Gecko).
