Swiss 685 issues

Hi,

The latest version is giving me a weird issue. Whenever I burn it onto a disc, whatever speed / settings / burning program, it only get's detected every few tries. I haven't had this issue with any other version of swiss. Also, with version 683 and 685, whenever I load up Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness I get a black screen and that's it. With 650 I can play the game without a hassle and it's very smooth. I think the alternate read patches made it very smooth , no more stuttering issues. However, the latest version is giving me other issues. Does anyone know what the possible cause may be?

Greetings,

Insomnia

They weren't enabled by default in r650, are you sure you were using them then?

My bad I double checked it, it was swiss 634 and yes I am sure I was using them (since I just checked it again, it plays without any problems and is very very smooth compared to older builds such as 451).

Are you absolutely sure you've enabled "Alternate Read Patches" under "Advanced Settings"? Your improvement over r451 is likely unrelated.

Most certainly. See attachments.

I can even make a video where you can clearly see the stutter in r451 but in 631 it's basically gone. Were u not informed/familiar about the "what seems to be a performance increase" situation with this version when it comes to the pokemon games (seemingly, in case it's a placebo for me lol)?
