Okay, I'm still running my PSOload setup, and thought I'd give you some results:

When I look at the system information tab in swiss, it seems to think that I don't have a broadband adapter hooked up, even though I just used it to boot swiss from my laptop.

Also, on a more positive note, Timesplitters 2 had minor graphical issues with progressive scan forcing in all versions of swiss 0.1, but in 0.2 it runs perfectly. Great job!

Also, these are running off of the actual game disks. I only use the memory card-sd adaptor with emulators.

I have disabled the broadband adapter detection as it was messing with things (as it's threaded and Swiss doesn't like threading at the moment), which explains the detection reporting that it's not present.

Great to know about Time Splitters 2 running properly in 480p :)

Daggnabit, I feel really stupid.
It had been a while since I had used swiss. I thought that setting swiss to run in progressive made the game run in progressive. I just did another check...
Timesplitters still looks like it has been pushed up the screen a bit, with what should be the top part looping to the bottom, and have green horizontal lines.

Sorry for the false report.

I tried running Mario party 6 and 7 with the newest swiss but it would not work. it hangs at the menu both the games. But if i start it with a older version of swiss(i think it was r48) It would play the games(but without music).

Is this going to fix in the newer revisions?

Hello, I would like to report two games as working.

Pokemon Colosseum NTSC-U
Untouched 1:1 rip from SD-Gecko on the Wii with Low Level, High Memory patch. Tested with Swiss 0.2-r124

Lost Kingdoms NTSC-U
Untouched 1:1 rip from SD-Gecko on the Wii. Swiss will pre-patch it and it runs with the default settings. Tested with Swiss 0.2r-124

I've only played about 20 minutes into Colosseum and about an hour into Lost Kingdoms and they both seem to work fine. The audio in Colosseum will lag and stutter a bit with scenes but other than that there seems to be no major problems. Not sure if this merits mention since I've read on the google page you're planning on switching to Ocarina codes, but everytime I enable cheats the games will refuse to load. Only time it worked for me was the money cheat for Skies of Arcadia. Not really a big deal since I'm just lazy and hate grinding.

Hope this helps a bit and sorry for not editing the Wiki myself as I've never done it before and I wasn't sure if I'd mess something up or not.

Thanks - cheats are totally broken in r124, if you use something earlier they're fine.

my gc is modded with sd card in slot b there is no card reader only the adapter, and the modchip is xenogc 2.0, i use the drive to boot swiss maybe some games only works in this case, i've tried to boot baten kaitos origins and not work, i shrunk the iso and boot without change the config and the motor was off on mario party 7, really has the annoying sound but worked for me.

Lego Star Wars is working ok, tried only the first few minutes of gameplay still there're little stops in movies and sound. I tried once to set patch level to high and enabled interrupts and this one time I got black screen after loading a part of the game so guess default settings are better.

Also Mario Power tennis has a little stops(let's say 0,50-0,75sec) on movie and as far as I remember, menus. Still, it's visible; on the other hand Mario Sunshine works just perfect, no stops and so on.

Paper Mario also seems to has such a stops and sound problems from time to time.

Also, I couldn't get Gameboy Player to boot, doesn't work at all for me.

------------

EDIT:
Updated info about Star Wars.

Just wanted to mention that Cars game has some hickups during gameplay, and Burnout 2 freezes :/.

Also, couldn't boot Gameboy player, is there any solution to do this? In my case booting ends with black screen.

Gameboy player is something special, if i remember correctly it does not use the dvd read commands swiss can patch, so it just won't find the files if booted from swiss.

I'm pretty sure I've booted a GB Player backup from SD, I'll have to triple confirm it as it might just be something that breaks every now and then between versions :p You certainly won't be able to just boot the DOL though.

Hmm, I saw kind of discussion on the swiss-gc project page, someone had also problems with it. Will test the European version and let you know. I had problems with US version.

EDIT:
European version starts both on default settings and with settings changed to high patch level with enabled interrupts. In both ways i see sth like that:

Just want to share my experience in this matter...

I recently bought a Gameboy player (last month) and finally got it a couple of days ago. I knew the seller wasn't offering a booting disc but it was so cheap I thought I had nothing to lose, after all I had read somewhere in the forum that it was compatible via swiss.

However, when I tried a shrunken NTSC iso (about 2 MB) with swiss it didn't really work, a black screen showed up and nothing happened after that. I decided to try a PAL version (1.46 GB), this time I got a warning: "an error has ocurred" (High Patch ON). Then tried resetting the console and booting the PAL image one more time to notice how the dvd drive was making a clicking noise two or three times before showing the warning, like if it were looking for a DVD.
Since all my GB games are made in USA I thought it would be a good idea to find an untouched NTSC iso for the Booting disc, considering the possibility the NTSC iso I had was faulty. I was able to find one eventually, it booted OK with swiss but behaved exactly as the PAL one: Clicking sound, then the error sign, then nothing else. :(

Finally decided to burn the image into a mini DVD (ritek04) at 2x to see what would happen... finished burning, loaded it up and BAM, Gameboy Player screen shows up. Tried Pokemon Crystal and worked but the best part is that it works with the EZ-FLASH IV!

So, while we wait for these guys to check how to get it running via swiss, know it can be done with a miniDVD.

:)

Yeah, I got same clicking sound. About 2mb size image, you should fix it before trying to run it in Wiped GCM Fixer program. All ISOs should have proper image size.

About burning the ISO, yes - you're right. It's no surprise it works. So maybe you ask why SWISS has the possibility to run the images - everyone can burn them. That's not the point.

Many people have problems with lasers in their consoles so they prefer to run the image out of the SD Card for example.

Also, this topic isn't about not using SWISS so - I know you're very happy you found the solution, but it's not the solution we're talking about here.

On flea markets and retro conventions you can sometimes find a used Game Boy Player boot disc. It's strange because they're supposed to be kept with the Game Boy Player they came with, but it's good for people who find a Game Boy Player without a disc, like you, MarSAttK. ;)
