networking - alternative interfaces since Swiss v0.6r1545

Hi.

Since Swiss v0.6r1545 Pre-release there are following new features:

"Enable networking to function with alternative interfaces."
"Force network init if ENC28J60 is detected"

Will it be possible to build Non-Nintendo BBA adapters for the GameCube in future?

Have the Swiss v0.6r1545 news something to do with:

Nothing much to build, apart from an SP1 or SP2 or even slot a or b (curious about which exactly is possible) connector adapter to the module you want to use.

I have asked the question in the Swiss's release topic, and given the answer that i got, its for everything except in-game network function at the moment.
DMG/MultiFreq OC/EDGB/EZF Jr, AGB/SC miniSD, NTR/NeoMK3, USG/flashme V8/SC miniSD
DOL001(EUR)/RGB/GCPlug/GBP/SD2SP2, RVL 001(EUR)/RGB/CMP/WiiSD
