Playing games with 32Mhz?

Post by Chun-kun » Wed Jun 15, 2011 10:06 am

Hi guys,
I just wanted to know if anyone got any game working with 32Mhz?
I couldn't start any. Is this a problem because of the SD cards or is it because of Swiss?

It's the SD card. I believe emu_kidid made a post about this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.
In short: Some SD cards support 32Mhz, and some don't.

Most of mine work fine, I use class 6 cards (Sandisk 2GB right through to 16GB I've been using without issue).

It can also be your SD Media laucher I think... I tried it with a sd gecko and then the game would start up with 32 Mhz.. With the SD media launcher it wouldnt.

Thank you! Tried several cards, SanDisk's and Kingston's, even the Kingston described as compatible, time to buy a SD Gecko.

Edit: didn't try well enough, SD Media Launcher adapter working on 32mhz :). Probably didn't choose a high alignment by then.
