Well, if you are using a SDML you won´t load cards bigger than 4gb with neither SDML adapter nor SD Gecko, but at least if you use Swiss you can load it with with a small sd card from one slot and load what you have in your 8gb and higher sd card from the other memory card slot using both.

They are exactly the same.

The SDML program can only load 4gb SD cards. You must use a 4gb to launch swiss, but the you can take out the 4gb card and put in an SDHC card and select "SD card" from the swiss menu. Swiss will read the card fine.

I think you mean SDML and SDLoad can only load non SDHC cards. With a maximum size of 2GB (or very rarely, non-standard 4GB which are 4GB but not SDHC).

Yeah. I just wasn't sure of the proper nomenclature for non-SDHC cards, so I tried to short-hand it.

I got two SDHC cards with 4 Gb, SDML can't boot from them but if I load swiss first an change the normal sd to an SD-HC it works correctly :)

You tested both versions of SDML? I didn't notice any difference other than the included AR database / cheat engine, I think the 1-2GB advertised limit was more due to the fact they where sold with 1-2GB SD cards not that they didn't support 4GB cards that was just a selling tactic to go along with defeating Nintendo's patch.

4GB cards aren't supported because 4GB+ are SDHC. There are the non-compliant 4GB non SDHC cards but they are rare and don't work properly anyway.

So 2048MB is the max?, no 2560MB or 2816MB cards made that comply with the standard? no to 4096MB because it overlaps with SDHC.

To boot Swiss you need an regular under 2 gig sdcard.
Then when you boot a game you can use a card up to 32 gigs,
its quite easy to say
