dito.

It's not that I have the time to play GC every day, but i'm excited about GC games being played without any stuttering on my GC =)

As soon as this is possible, I'm gonna play RE0-CVX (just like the old days) =)

Hey emu! Thanks for all the hard work!

Just wondering have you got any plans to release the latest version of Swiss on the swiss-gc website any time soon? Its still on r94 and it would be interesting to see how its updated over time.

Thanks

I've just noticed in the code for Swiss that component video is Ntsc480Prog. My PAL cube doesn't seem to produce that, and if I tell BlackMagic to use PAL progressive it expects me to give it that. The reason it works on my TV is probably because I'm telling it which input to use - not what kind of signal (it'll figure that out for itself).

I have tried compiling Swiss with one or two other graphics modes that I found in video_types.h, but I didn't get one to work (I may need something like TVPal576Prog). No big deal though: I just thought I'd share what I had found out.

Hi there , in new in this site , i have a

Gamecube ( Purple )
NTSC
Modchip : XenoGC 1.1 , NTSC Revision : 1.0 , Drive Version 6

Im using "Swiss 0.2 r94" , okey i wanna know if possible the follow

1 - Because much tools are making using "gc-linux" , i wanna know if possible , add Support to filesystem like : ext2/3/4 , reiserfs , btrfs , or one of this , to format SD with this systemfile , and if possible a fsck to check the filesystem

2 - Defragmenter files , because , im using FAT/FAT32 FS , when i copy a Backup to SDHC , the file is fragmented , and dont load , i see a green screen .

3 - I'm from Venezuela , i dont like games in English , when i have PAL Games , with Spanish , but if i try to force to NTSC games like : Mario Party 4/5/6/7 , Luigi Mansion , Tloz Wind Waker , and Metal Gear The Twin Snakes , none of this game are forced to NTSC , none , i know Metal Gear can be forzed to NTSC , but when i select that option in the Swiss Setup , the game , ever start in PAL 50 Hz

I wanna know if possible , to load in PAL 60 Hz , like Paper Mario , or if know a method to insert a frequency selector 50/60 Hz , like in games how "Tloz : Twilight Princess , Resident Evil Remake , Super Smash Bros Melee , Soul Calibur 2 , Eternal Darkness , Paper Mario , Mario Kart Double Dash , etc"

Or if someone can tellme , apart to chance the "Region" of Backup , if possible make a Hexadecimal Edit , to change the Frequency from 50Hz to 60 Hz???

Because i can see correct in the NTSC TV , with PAL 60.

Another thing , its when i play games from SDHC , i hear a strange noise , like a modem 56 KBPS , trying to connect internet . i see in "SDBoot 0.4 Final Edition" an option some called "Remove Audio Jilter" or similar , and the Noise , its very reduced , with this option activated , but the SDBoot 0.4 FE , dont stop the gamecube motor :S

I wanna know if this is possible fix , in special the PAL to NTSC or to PAL 60 to watch perfectly in mys 3 TVS .

You dont know if posible to forze to PAL60 , or in defect , make something like a "PAL" emulator , to load perfect in TV Ntsc ???

Sorry for my bad english , and thank you for readme , i hope , you understand this .
P.D ; I love my Gamecube , i dont like Nintendo Wii / Wii-U , i prefer my NGC Forever :=)

Thanks for answer me

a last thing : i can boot luigui mansion PAL , but lugui mansio NTSC stop in Nintendo Logo

I have fixed Luigis Mansion NTSC :D and PSO ep3 (PSO from disc only so far).. Swiss 0.3 will be released to mark all of these major fixes and a lot of others.

Also the high level (no dvd drive required) patch code has been substantially improved and now games like Smash Bros. Melee work with it too :D

That's great news :). But I can't believe that I came too late with my compatibilty list of game for Swiss 0.94 :(. Anyway I will post in a couple of hours to have some references and I will re-test the non-working games.

Thanks a lot emu_kidid :). By the way........ what is IDE-EXI v2? Do you have plans to build a newer IDE-EXI?

Sorry for my double post but I want to tell you that IDE-EXI doesn't work at all. I try to boot the 3 versions of swiss (that came in the last package) with my SD Gecko in Slot A and I use IDE-EXI in Slot B and I always have the same error. I attach a screen capture.

When I boot PSO Epidode 1&2 with swiss, it resets my Gamecube evry time after I accepted that Time&Date are correct. From DVD and from SD card.
What could that be?

I wonder, if you download an already existing save file and try playing PSO with that, instead of going through the process of creating a save, if it would work. Its worth a shot.
