GameCube powered with WKF, Resident Evil style
Ok, here is my GC-mod that I started working a year after I got the idea. Now it's been a month in progress, and going pretty smoothly . Maybe next I'll get the power, reset and Wii eject switches attached to the case.

Thanks for the positive comments . Finally last night I put in place the plastic frame that holds the mobo, phew. Had to trim it like a thousand times, to get it fit.
I have had ideas about painting the case, but after a lot of thinking, I'm going to leave it as it is. Maybe some blood spatter and some varnish to hold the lookkinect360 wrote:Might need a little paint :p If that look is intended how ever it looks great !

This looks so awesome! Are you going to put in an actual dvd drive? Or going for a WODE/WKF?

Yes it's going to be WKF . While I was adding the Wii eject and reset, I got the idea to add Game Boy Player and BBA into the saw. Need to do some trimming on GBP board, at least it has a lot of empty space on the edges.

please search before you ask - a lot has been discussed already!

Since you're adding the GBplayer you might wanna do the sound fix thingy to make the gameboy sound better as it has a weird feeling to it.
Somewhere on here I've seen it I swear.

Re: GameCube powered with WKF, Resident Evil style
I have been looking into doing the audio mod, but not sure about it yet. Apparently I managed to brake the GBP's board while removing the connectors and switches... But another board is already in the mail. Let's see how I manage that one
Meanwhile, can someone tell me why my GBP (left) has this resistor (4.7k Ohms 5%) on it. And I found picture (right) of another GBP that had three of them connected like so. Is this related to the sound. Something that Nintendo wanted to patch in some models? As I see that there is no resistors in the picture shown in sound mod-tutorial.
