As said in subject, I have problem with my analog stick(the main one, gray). It moves "Up" on it's own from time to time(while it's in the center position); but sometimes it locks itself like this and moves "Up" until I put it into the "Up" position manually and back to center again.
Is there any way to fix it? I hope there is as it drives me mad when Link starts to run forward in Wind Waker when I don't want him to do so

Re: Main analog stick "moving up" problem
If you hold the joystick when you turn on the GameCube, the system will read the direction as neutral. Hold the X, Y, and Start buttons together for 3 seconds to recalibrate the controller. If the problem persists, most likely analog stick needs to be replaced.

It's a bad analog stick, you need to replace the stick on the circuit board
