Nice, I'm liking those button cut outs, they look pretty slick.

Thanks for the comments guys, those cutouts were made with my dremel and some sand paper, dpad was with a knife and sand paper. Definitely ready to put this project to sleep.

So so, a friend of mine suggested using middle fingers for the l/r buttons.

i wish i could make a portable but the site you get them cases from isnt worth it for me because i live in the uk the amount i would pay for a AG-85 off polycase.com including shipping is $66.89 which in my money is £42.79 which is way to high for just a case :( i wish i could source them locally

So I hit a snag, I have to pull one side of batteries out to resolder my 5v lead. Outside of that, my wasp is acting weird, it keeps flashing the blue led. Not sure why yet, going it's not a loose wire. Of it is, I and a lot of stuff to remove from my board to wait for my megadrives to come in. I think once I get my 5v lead resoldered I should be able to see what's wrong, I also need to solder in the bios battery. I'm hoping to get this done before the new year but with my luck probably won't get done.

So, I got some work done, I need a couple things but its looking good so far,
I need to get some caps for my 3ds analogs, and I some how lost my start
button, and I need to add a volume knob, right now its at a not so loud volume,
but could be turned down a bit,

The back didn't turn out like I wanted it to really, I feel its lacking quite a bit,
but really this is only my first one, I have a couple more boards laying around
that work and my brother got me a really cool case, but this case requires me
to make all new buttons and d pad, it will also challenge my ability to solder
and clean it up a bit.

Anyway, with out further rantings...

It looks like (on the third picture) that the fan is fully exposed. Maybe it's better to add something to prevent stuff from entering that hole breaking the fan.

You should see what it looks like right now, with no bandage.

No photos for this update, but soon. Anyway, still need to drill a hole for my volume knob and get some caps for the 3ds sliders. Had a bug in the external memory card wiring, fixed that. Thinking of a way to do charge and play but require a new power switch and another power port, which means more cutting.

Handling so far isn't too bad, thought it would be better, but the way the screen has to be tilted makes it a bit harder to play. So, I am thinking of other ways to do it, if I were to design it differently.

Well in a couple days or so I will do a quick video of it in action.
