Max Drive Pro and PC software on Windows 7

I am trying to get my Max Drive Pro memory card to be recognized in the PC software in Windows 7. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get it to work? I wanna put GCOS on it.

I can format the Max Drive Pro memory card on my GC, and even prepare it for use in a PC with the Max Drive Pro GC dis. Saves work just fine.

Why would I be lucky to have one? Are they rare?

They're just hard to come by but their function isn't very special at all, you can achieve the same with a SD Gecko and gcmm.

Gotcha. I don't have either of those other two, but I dug this thing out after I bought a cheap Gamecube + Gameboy player yesterday from Craigslist ($20!), so I wanted to try this and GCOS

The Max Drive Pro comes with a disc that is bootable on a GC to be able to load GCOS off of the memory card, so how does an SD Gecko or gcmm do that if the GC doesn't have a mod chip?

UPDATE:

Fired up VMware with a vritual XP machine and finally got it to work. Now I can finally play a burned copy of the missing Gameboy Player Startup Disc!

Yo check the home brew area, extrems wrote a program that does what the gbp disc does. It's cap Gameboy Interface.

Yea I am part of the Game Boy Interface thread. Until all the issues with glitches and screen tearing are worked out, I will stick with the official disc
