Laser pot adjustment

Post by NeoCortex » Fri Nov 26, 2010 12:22 pm

Hey guys,

my Gamecube plays original games just fine.
I got a couple of backups here, 8cm DVD-RW, 12cm DVD+R and 12cm DVD-R and none works with
GCos 1.5 or GCos Public Beta.
Would it help to adjust the pot or will i just kill my GC and stop it even playing original games?

Best regards, Neo

In the majority of the cases, you will need to adjust the POT to play backups.

Will this affect the play of originals?
My sense of logic says: originals are playing if i adjust the pot now they wont...

I think im just give it a try.

Hmm no luck to me my original value is 330Ω
Set it down to 230Ω and up to 400Ω nothing changed.
