Help with GCvideo?

I recently bought a Gamecube (old model with component port) and had it modded with a Qoob Pro modchip.
I just learned about GCvideo but none of the communities i am seem to know a lot about it.
The only one selling one of these chips, as far as i could ascertain thus far, is badassconsoles.
Does GCvideo support sound over hdmi now?

I found someone willing to install it for me, but i would need to source all the required parts for it and i think i reached a point where i would truly value outside input.

It does support sound over HDMI.

Mega is going to have them available soonish now, since the issues with the flex cable have been resolved. He also offers an install service.
