Hello,
Is it possible to tap into the PAL GC to access CSYNC and not CSYNC over composite (which seems to be the default) without using any sync stripper? A bit like what can be done with a Mega Drive and its Sony CXA1145 video encoder.
I vaguely remember seeing a PCB photo with some pins annotated for the GC that may imply this would be possible, but I cannot find it anywhere, so I'm afraid I may have just dreamed it...
CSYNC only directly from the GC

Not that I'm aware of. Composite is most common on European TVs, easiest to start with if you have yet to establish what you need.
A normal Mega Drive has CSYNC output. It doesn't work properly on the Nomad though.

The only way to get a separate CSYNC signal is to use GCvideo lite.

Hey,
sorry for late response, thanks for your replies!
I will make a small sync stripper then.
