New to GC

Post by Psy_boy » Sat Dec 01, 2018 1:37 pm

Hi everyone.

I just recently got myself a Gamecube! I'm super excited and I want to use it for playing games via Isos.

It is not modded yet, its the DOL-001 version.
I have no intention on modding via chip/soldering/etc, but want to use the softmod method.

I've seen the SD media launcher kit is available at code junkies, but I bought a kit from a dude on eBay and hope it arrives monday.

In case it doesn't am I screwed? The SDML CD and adapter seems pretty rare nowadays and I don't really know what to do if he does not hold up his deal. Is it possible to get it somewhere still? Are Codejunkies reliable?

Yes I know. Some have said that they are unreliable.

You shouldn't buy their product then.

Did you even read my first post?

I have not bought the item from them, but from someone on Ebay.. And I'm simply asking if anyone here feel that they are reliable.

Please read my post instead of slamming the door like that

I did. You shouldn't buy their product from anyone if you don't trust them.

Yo do what I did buy this https://www.amazon.com/Action-Replay-Ga ... K50ZW&th=1 then buy this https://www.amazon.com/Converter-Adapte ... RWTZT65K35 then with those you need a 2gb or less sd card and make sure it is the right class then buy another sd card thats bigger (this ones for roms) then pop all the games on it
Thanks for the reply :-) I just received it today and it takes microsd cards.. So I've tried 3 cards which are:

1. largest card is 2gb
2. none of the cards are HC.

But no matter which card, the action replay menu just shows the same stupid list of games.. Can anyone help out?

Would this do the job as well?
