I'll write the word "Ashen" on my altar and bow down to it every day before sleep because "Ashen" is equivalent to "awesome" :D

Ashen, for 480p, did you do a hybrid AlmostWTF cut and leave the filters or did you chop em off and solder the MX directly to the AVE?

I mostly always do hybrid cuts when I can, so I'm not always chopping off critical stuff. Filters were left on in this case. Pretty sure Tchay chopped them off on his though.

hybrid...gotcha...

i wonder if your presumption is correct about Tchay's setup...
that might help to explain some of the interference...

The guy that bought the Revolution from me wasn't a big fan of the 3DS sliders. Changed things up on his request:

Turned out pretty well considering it was done after the fact. :D

I thought the sliders were epoxied to the case...
If so, was it hell to get em off and smooth out the bottom side surface to fit the traditional controls??

Also, were you able to salvage the sliders?

They were, with a little bit of added heat the epoxy I normally use becomes pliable/workable again so It wasn't too bad to get them out and clean things up for the modified installation. Both sliders came out in one piece, so I'll be able to reuse them. :D :D
