You should have built a clone machine first. Think of how much work you could get done if there were five of you.

Beauty ... that's what I was wondering. I look forward to the sale begins. I already bought a new control and an SD adapter on DX.

I'm going to stock the mini fridge with beer, put the cube on the wall projector at a 100 inch screen and take the week off work. What better way to knock out a few old games I never got around to playing yet.

Mini fridge sounds like a sixpack. One week = less than 1 beer per day

remove the original DVD port and solder in Port Replacement.

i would think the most obvious benefit after reviewing the photos is the lack of wireporn for a WFK/WODE mod.......but lack of wireporn is not the greatest benefit this board offers. It also has onboard 3.3v regulator for main power to the WFK/Wode. The ability to use native FFC cable connection also allows a Wii DVD drive to be directly connected to the GC mainboard (for anyone who wants to mod their GC to front loading.) The board will have pins to allow it to be easily dropped into the mainboard and soldered...

I have owned a WKF for almost 1 year and have never attempted to connect it to my GC due to the simple fact that i did not want to deal with wireporn. I always wanted to have a permanent "solid" connection solution and this is about as permanent as it can get. I hope these photos help clear up confusion and answer the purpose of this board.

If you get this made, count me in. I recently ordered my WKF and since my original optical drive is dead, this seems to be the cleanest and sexiest solution. If the price is right (you mention $15-20) I am 100% all in. I would have to spend at least that much if not more on a "wire porn" solution and I would rather give you my money than some fly by night company out of china. I've got your back Maniac, hit me up on IRC next time you see me and let me know how this is going and how soon I can throw my money at you to obtain one of these. M'Kay?

I think we have discussed this concept now and again, but my memory is so horrible I cant recall. Im sure this is the 100th time I have mentioned this on IRC. Just keep me posted. I have a few gamecubes that need a WKF and this kind of mod.
