GC-Linux Question

Post by ultrasn0w » Mon Apr 02, 2012 5:01 pm

I saw that some of you guys here are good at gc-linux :D
So my question, is it possible to create a gc-linux image wich supports little java files?
For playing these lil Linux games or use other java applications on a GC.

thx

Is it possible: Yes..

You can run any software for powerpc.. there should be a JRE for ppc architecture!

But i guess it will be really slow to unusable (games will be).. since you don't even have a GUI like X, i don't see any sence in using java on a cube anyway ^^

It's because I was searching for a Towerdefense game for Gamecube and there isn't one. Neither Homebrew neither retail.
So I thought running one on gc-linux.
