Battery Help

Post by kinect360 » Sat Mar 01, 2014 3:23 pm

Hi there, I am looking for help with my portable batteries.

They are supposedly a 12v 10000mAh battery pack. 3 cells of lipo at 3.7v im guessing would make them 11.1v and I doubt they are each 10000mAh.. Anyway besides this I am in need of help finding a charger or finding a way to charge them. It came a with a EU wall charger and long story short it is fried lol, was the board in the wall charger used as a PCB? (Protection Circut Board) Or was it just to regulate the voltage going to the battery pack?

Here's a pic of it:

Here's a picture of the batteries: (I can't seem to find a PCB attached to them.)

Do I need a PCB and could I use a 12v li-ion drill battery charger? It outputs 2.0A which should be way too high. The old charger was 12v DC max 500mA.

Too expensive, it'll cost double what I paid for the battery pack..

yes it will cost double, but it will prevent your battery from exploding and your system from catching on fire

Id rather buy the same battery pack from china and get double the battery life in my portable. Paying 40$ shipping for a 20$ item is ridiculous.
